From Pantanal to Atlantic Forest
This was my first release, published in 2010. It brings together the voices of 124 bird species: 62 from the Pantanal and 62 from the Atlantic Forest, in a 132-minute audio guide.
In the booklet, I describe getting to know birds through their voices and how my father accompanied me on recording trips. The lists connect each track to the scientific name and common names in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
The recordings were made with a Marantz PMD 671 recorder and a Sennheiser ME 67 directional microphone with K6-P. The original booklet preserves the introduction, photographs and species names used in that edition.
Listening notes
The guide is divided into Pantanal and Atlantic Forest, with track numbering restarting in each section. The booklet contains both lists of 62 species, linking each track to its names.
